Hi I would like to know the best editing program for montages and such like video editing . Me and my clan would like to start making montages and I would like to know thank you

Sony Vegas is good not sure what version is the best though

If you're looking for fairly basic effects, transitions and editing then Sony Vegas is the way to go.

I personally trim clips and put them in order in SV, then use After Effects to edit in a more in-depth way than possible with Sony Vegas alone

i personally perfer after effects cs6 over sony vegas i find the interface a bit easier but i havent spent much time using sony vegas so i guess i dunno

Sony vegas that what I edit with it seems like that the best editing program to me
