You know, you don't have to quote everything everyone says. It's pretty much a given that you're commenting on the previous post.

I have no problem with normal PC gamers who play their games and don't boast that that PC is better constantly. But then you have people like this
Nacelle wrote PC = 1 game across 3 screens, fully rendering 6.5 megapixels (6048x1080). Console = 1 screen, barely rendering 1 megapixel (1280x720) and streatched to fit 1080p. There are plenty of reasons it's not right for you. But there's no way anyone will ever be able to convince me that the PC isn't the best platform for gaming.

We don't care about your monitors whatsoever so there was no need showing off.

However with that being said, Flutterborn is probably the most right on why most people game on PC
I prefer PC because there's a much bigger variety of games that you can play. Hell, the most fun i've had playing video games has been on PC games that are FREE. That, and there's always great sales on STEAM and the humble bundle so I don't have to spend alot of money to have games.

But then again, you do pay a lot more, so I would expect more sales

You can build a computer for $400 (PS4) or $500 (Xbone) that poops on the consoles performance.

So true...

they also forget that year they will most likely buy a awful laptop/pc for around 300-400 dollars.. so your console+laptop = 700-900 dollars spent they could of built a pc with all round better performance.

That is true, but honestly not many PC gamers stick to $500. Most people tend to stay above $500

PC MASTER RACE

But seriously, PC is far more superior than a console. I started gaming with the nintendo cube, than got my first Xbox console, than I got the Xbox 360, than the Slim, and so forth. But console where not cutting it, It felt like games that I wanted to play, where just cut ups and hand me down games from PC games. There graphics where butchered, and controls missing, and, I felt like it was ALOT cheaper than having to pay $10 a month just to connect with my friends, than have to pay $60 for a game just to play it with them. With PC, the games are relatively cheaper, I purchased FULL game, more advanced, better graphics, 10x more fun than any Xbox game for ONLY $30. Guess what!? If I wanna play with my friends, ITS FREE OMG. I also feel like theres a better range of more interactive, fun games for PC than console. (Ex: DayZ, ArmA, etc)

I purchased my first gaming computer early November for $1600, and it well worth it! I have 10 games that have not cost me more than $100, why? Because of the amazing sales.

PC is literally THE MASTER RACE. You pay one hefty chunk for you computer, but it will hold up for years to come, and everything is amazing, cheap, and every game company is making there games FOR COMPUTERS.

I for one, will NEVER be going back to console gaming, to expensive for a crappy gaming experience.

The PC is so much better, I paid around 650 GBP for mine
I play LOL and Minecraft on it, but I also play BF4, Rust and DayZ

The enjoyment I get from the PC is crazy, I see gaming as how much fun im having

Being with consoles for over 10 years the new ones was exciting on announcement then I realised how horrible they would be for me with the limitations of Microsoft (I was an Xbox fanboy)

Moving onto PC was the best change for me... It would probably be the best change for everyone seen as they are greater in many ways

In what ways are they better? And don't just say better graphics or a faster operating system.
And no it's not better for me.

The fact that once you're done gaming you can browse the internet with far more ease, flick on and download films much easier, flick onto word documents etc to get work done, it's so much more than just gaming xbox has internet explorer on it, but let's be honest using that with an xbox remote is shit slow and a pain in the neck, don't get me wrong here Xbox is great for just kicking back, chilling and playing a few games with friends, but we have to admit that PC's are superior, you have interchangeable graphics to easily keep up with the latest tech. The best way to describe the PC vs Console thing, is that in our heads we know spec for spec ability for ability PCs are better, but in our hearts we love our consoles, as the simplicity etc I really don't see why people have to argue and bitch about this so much though

+with pc's many games end up heavily modded with crazy stuff in them which keeps them fun because it's so much easier to do! Keeps old games such as bf1942 if anyone's heard of it, going today still even though it's over 10 years old

That doesn't mean anything.
The point is the whole argument for consoles because of price is invalid.

Aren't we a bit defensive. Most people don't think of this kind of setup when they think of PC gaming. I was just showing what is possible.
