your not prestiging in split screen your using the split screen menu as a portal for the prestige option in live, pressing up on the dpad then A enables you to view the last menu you saw, which if you if you followed the tutorial right it would be your playercard, therefore allowing you to access the prestige button

Im not sure but i dont think a generic modded profile would work you'd need one based on you own profile, not sure though. Im 2nd lvl 42 atm will give it a go 2moz. I remember the mw2 one was a bit like this and so was the W@W its like a combination of both.
