yes and no it depends on the person, me personally no but i do have some really good friends on xbox who i never met or will met

It honestly depends on the person(s). If you can't handle people saying stuff about you for dating someone over the internet then I probably wouldn't do it. If you can handle it and you don't care what other people say about you then go for it I guess. But I would get to know the person really really really good and know that you can trust them. Also I would only do it if you think your actually going to at least visit them and/or move in with them later on in your life.

I have dated someone over the internet unfortunately. Do I regret it yes and no. She lived in NY and I live in Mass. I went to see her for her birthday and I actually did like it while I was there and I had a great time. But after I left we only dated for a few months after and then we broke up because she hated not being able to see me so we just stopped dating and stopped talking to each other.

Thant's just my 2 cents and personal encounter with online dating. But it's completely all up to you.

I did have a friend I met online who was from America and he dated a girl from the U.K on Playstation and she eventually flew out to meet him, and they got married

Personally I can't do long distance relationships. talking over Skype isn't the same as being with someone.
