Different accounts make no difference. For some precautions, change your IP before and after hosting. Make sure that you don't hop on your retail until an hour after.

Hope I helped.

That would help but not a whole lot. A hour of time is barely getting by. Normally when I go on I go on for as long as possible. I make sure to have my RGH wireless and my Retail wireless when going online. Then when I get offline I restart my router (changing my IP) and actually hit the reset button on the back of it (gives me a new IP from my network). Then I plug in my retail through an Ethernet cord to make the local IP change. However through all of this my mac address on my router hasn't changed. So if they found my router they could. (This is a lot of work which I don't believe is necessary but it is always good to try and be safer)

However the odds of your retail getting banned from your RGH being online is very slim. Microsoft wants you to continue paying for their service through your retail even if it means their servers will be hacked from the same person.

The odds of being IP blacklisted are extremely extremely extremely low. I know one person who got IP blacklisted who just got a new ISP and is back up.

Don't know if I explained everything/anything clearly. If you want more details let me know.

I understand that if you want to be more precautious there are more steps,as you stated above, but again, as you stated, you will more than likely not get IP banned. All in all, do whatever you think needs to be done I guess. Other people have different opinions and ways.
