Hunting is a sport.
I live in Texas and where I am from we don't kill just to kill. We kill for food to feed our family, and the indescribable adrenaline rush of harvesting the monster buck that you've hunted all season long.
The motto at the ranch I hunt at is "1 shot. 1 clean; humane kill."
We're not just barbarous people who like to slaughter animals for no reason. We do it for a reason.
Now, on subject. Nice deer!
I got two this past weekend!
Buck #1
Buck #2

I shot this big boy with my bow from 25 yards. He was a non-typical 13 point with VERY heavy horns and a broken G3. He scored 142 with the broken G3 and an estimated 150 without the broken G3. He also was very old deer, and needed to be taken out of the herd. There's nothing like proper management at ranch!
We will make a very good meals with these deer, don't worry.
P.S. sorry for the sideways pictures, I don't know why it did that..

Hunting should not be considered a sport. I live in Texas, and hunt as well... If you are hunting just for sport then you are doing wrong. If you do hunt it should be for food not sport. Yes when you hunt you want to kill the biggest animal and mount it on your wall but you should not be doing this just for "sport. Just my opinion on this topic.
