A lag switch simply cuts your internet connection (or slows it down) until you turn it off again, you only use it for around 3 seconds before you turn in off, you can either have a lag switch program on your computer of an ethernet cord that has a switch connected to one of the wires. It's used in games to help people get kills e.g COD. Generally used when one has host connection.

If you have a laptop you can allow your xbox to use the internet through an ethernet connection and download a lag switch program. (Google or Youtube for programs, idk because i don't use them)
