Looking to buy my first ever car

Few things I'm looking for:

-Hatchback
-Around 10,000
-Width and space in drivers seat especially (I'm a big lad)
-1.2/1.4L MAX - I'm not made of insurance money

Any comments and suggestions would be great.

PS I'm pretty tempted by the Seat Ibiza. But im not sure what the space is like in the front seat? Anyone know?

I've had a Peugeot 206 and a 106 the 106 is a decent car but stay away from the 206. its also a personal preference but it prefer Peugeots to stuff like corsas ect. if you're looking for a hatchback with loads of space look at a fiesta they're quite big inside and are mechanically sound.

Have you looked into the insurance costs? Also depending on your age you might want to go with a company that do black boxes

At the moment I got a Citron Berlingo, it's 13 years old, uses nearly no gas, and drives perfectly. The looks might not be that' great, but overall it's a good car to drive around with.
