I think they already patched it. There was an app called instalikes and you were able to buy infinite coins and I remember I used it for one night and got 2k likes on a picture and the next day I tried getting more coins and they patched it

Instagram has a limit of 80 likes an hour for un verified users. So I highly much doubt you got 2k in one night on one picture....
