I need some help on troubleshooting my TV. I am trying to connect my computer to my TV can someone tell me what cords I need. Do I only need an HDMI cord or do I need a VGA cord. I Plugged in the HDMI cable into the PC and TV but it still comes up as no signal, Does anyone know what is wrong.

My tv never picked up HDMI on a pc neither try using the VGA and changing the tv source To PC or VGA depending on youre tv the name may be different also if you want to do HDMI I would use a proper monitor not a tv but the only difference between HDMI and VGA is HDMI can have Higher resolution VGA does 1080p but wont handle it very well on a very big tv

you only need one of each cable at once to be plugged in..
if you're plunging them into your gpu try your motherboard as some gpu's won't work without drivers.
