so i have a dual slot GPU and i need a a wireless adapter which is a pci-e card and on my motherboard it is too close to the GPU slot which takes two slots and right now i cant fit both in at a time but this is where the hardware mod comes in because i need both.

My idea:
my plan is too take the fan off of the card which is the main thing in the way but im also going to leave the heat sync on because my computer is very well cooled and the card isnt a super high performer so it doesn't get too hot and the wireless adapter is pretty small and i took the actual bracket off of it and am thinking about running the intena spot thru the bracket vent on the card.

in my mind this should work but i want some second thoughts/ideas also if you guys need pictures to help just let me know or if you have any questions please let me know.

Wouldn't suggest it. Instead, you could find a PCIe (assuming that is the slot you're trying to reach) slot riser/extender cable. Unfortunately, they might be hard to find due to the cryptocurrency craze.

Everyone's buying these up for custom Bitcoin/Litecoin/etc. mining setups. They're useful for getting as many cards as possible connected to a board and spacing them so they don't have as many issues with cooling.

I suggest you not mess with your graphics card's cooler and void your warranty. Not to mention make the performance much worse.

heating isnt a problem ive thought that out its a low grade card so it doesnt accumulate too much heat and i have lots of fans to do the job

oh that makes since ive read a little about bitcoin and things like that.....also if it stays cool will it still loose performance because my fans are pretty solid

It doesnt matter whether or not you have "lots of fans" or that its a low grade card. It produces heat. The heat wont draw from the gpu and you'll fry it if you take that fan off. If you could take the fan off, why would company's make gpus with fans? Go ahead and take the fan off your cpu heatsink and tell me what happens.

ok i understand what your saying now basically the GPU fan pulls the heat off of the heat sink so blowing air on too the heat sink wont do any good because its not pulling it away correct me if im wrong

Correct, even if you flip your case fans and drew the heat, it wouldnt matter. You gpu would fry in minutes.
