Now, before anybody is quick to judge, let it be known I'm an open minded person, I'm not gay, bi, trans, etc. but I am okay with the idea of same gender marriage and all around equality. My question is to people against it why are you, and an important note: I would like another reason besides religion. I would like to know what else makes you disagree with it. It does annoy me whenever someone is against it for no reason and just says something like "I hate ****" or something of that nature.

I am not against it, but I want to put my opinion out there!
For instance:
Imagine you have had a friend for a few years, really good friends and trust them with everything etc.
They come to you saying they are gay/lesbian etc, does that make them a different person? You have been friends with them for a few years, the whole time they have been gay and you not knowing, they act the same as they would if you didn't know, so how is it bad? I can see people may get a bit iffy about it if they start acting it towards you, you may get uncomfortable.
Someone in my family is gay/lesbian, I don't feel the need to say who. It hasn't changed them what so ever.

You're probably going to get reasons like, "I just don't like seeing them kissing in public." or "It goes against nature."
The first of which can't exactly be argued against other than they probably wouldn't care if it was 2 girls.
The second of which doesn't make much sense because there are thousands of species of animals which show homosexual traits.
It also goes a lot deeper than just intercourse, we are gay for the love and companionship too, calling a gay couple unnatural is saying love is unnatural.

I know a few guys that take estrogen pills to grow breasts and they wear thongs and tuck their penis up to make it look like their a woman. This to me is disgusting and that is why I don't like it.
If you dress normally then I dont really care, but if you do what i said above, then please stay away from me.

One of my best guy friends came out to me towards the end of 2013, of course my opinion changed a little bit, but I still love him like a brother and accept him for who he is.

I agree 100% It isn't just about that, it's actual love just like a straight person would feel for a woman or man, except they feel it for their same gender, it's no different.

So it's not really just gays that do some stuff like that, there are people all around this earth that do unusual stuff like that.

This would be interested to see if anyone does post a valid reason why 2 people the game gender can't be together.
The only excuse me and my GF get is something like this:
But as Trotsky said. If same sex relationships aren't natural then love isn't natural.
[It has been 22 hours and a valid non-religious reason still hos not been posted.]

It sorta annoys me when I hear about my friend getting stuff about it when I know it's not even a problem in the first place. I'm with you, I truly want to see someone that can give 2 valid reasons besides religion.

The simplest answer I can give it is against my religion and I think it is wrong.
God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

That argument falls down pretty easily because, he made homosexuals too.
