i just bought assassins creed from gamestop after i installed the game during the cut scenes everyone speaks but there are no sounds when they speak or subtitles can anyone help me with this problem

I would try restarting the game. If that doesn't work I would just re-install the game which will more than likely work.

un-install the game and re-install it and make sure the disc is clean.

for some reason my audio settings was on 7.1 i had to change it to stereo thank you for the help
