There's actually a parasite which causes the brain to act almost identically to how a zombie would, although as far as I know humans are not compatible hosts. If they were we still wouldn't need to worry because they're a very rare parasite and they cannot reproduce at a high rate. Plus standard antibiotics would probably kill them.
P.S To people talking about rigor mortis and cell degeneration, a host does not need to be dead to be a 'zombie', it is very possible for a zombie apocalypse to happen, just not how we think of zombies. Think about rabies, bath salts etc. Look at how animals react when infected with rabies and look at how bath salts etc have effected humans.

CommandoBear wroteEncoder wrote Zombies are literally impossible due to cell degeneration. If the zombie tried to run, it would fall apart after like 3 stepsalso theres rigor mortis so it might have already happened but dead people just couldnt move at all so noone knows
No one know's also what the zombies would be like maybe it won't just be dead it might become a zombie from a new drug!

What if something happens like a virus and we have never seen it and it spreads very easy lets say through breathing or something very easy to be spread. Then we are fudged we won't be able to really find the virus and cure it in time. OR can we?

IF anything were to happen anything similar to a "Zombie Apocalypse" it'd be mad cow disease, And it wouldn't happen immediately it'd take months to get to that kind of condition.. SO it's highly unlikely.

-Milton- wroteby the next century projected biological research is estimated to rise over 500% so there would be all kinds of testing facilities in the desert completely distant from most civilization so one would be able to cure it without ever seeing a zombie in his or her life. (although this might be a total crap stat cus population is supposed to rise so there prbly wont be very many remote locations except for the moon and antarcticaSlimJ wrote Never cause we will soon find the cure for any virus, technology is improving quickly
