So I went into pacsun today and was shopping for some new T-shirts and I noticed brands like diamond supply co and most of the popular street brands are like $50 dollars a T-shirt. I checked the tag and they are all just plain cotton shirts. When I first heard of diamond supply co it was about $20 dollars a Tee now since they have gotten popular they raised the price of their gear.
Some major brands even print on just regular hanes tees and charge you like 40 bucks extra just because it has their name on it.
What do you guys think?

Most big brands have done this. Superdry is a key example

"You pay for the brand" People will always think they look "Cool" wearing the major brands so they will continue to buy them.

I think maybe if brands actually did something to the clothing like make it out of higher quality cotton or something. Because I don't know about you guys but Diamond supply co isn't the most comfortable clothing to wear.

Don't buy the brand. It is their brand they do get to do what they want.

Diamond supply company, RUCA (Looks like RVCA on their shirts and other clothing), etc are always going to raise their prices when they know people like them. I bought a fair amount of Diamond Supply Company and RUCA shirts when they were on sale, and were relatively cheap in general. It's ridiculous how they just raise their prices like crazy, but it's about making money in this world, and that's the bottom line.
