This really annoys me.
When I look through comments on a gold giveaway that asks 'why you think you deserve it' I see so many posts from people with next to nothing on their post count, that claim they are active 24/7 and love to help people out.
Half of these people are 1 year+ members. Like they actually think people are going to believe that they are active.
This really annoys me.
Please share your thought on this.

The year count has nothing to do with activity.

It upsets me when people have been here for +1 years and only got less than 100 post, and they start begging for stuff.

Thank god somebody finally made a thread regarding this. Yes I agree with you. I was just reading most of the "giveaways" and everybody is like "I'm active give it to me" Makes me sick..

But its always been that way. It will never change just be grateful the people that do the giveaway see through them.

I think those type of giveaways are sillier than the 'Guess a number between 1-100' ones.
They might as well say, "Make up a paragraph of lies that make you sound awesome."

Sure, some people do tell the truth, but the amount who don't outweighs them massively.

Some people may actually be active though, 'Quality not quantity'. However most of the time you can tell they are lying. Which is actually quite rude, considering there are actually people out there who are active who don't get seen. Who also never gets a chance.
