Unless you wanted the features the 970/990X or 990FX chipsets offer (better audio, multi card support) then you won't go wrong with that board. Size isn't an indication of quality, however sometimes I wonder how OG Mudbone manages.

If you like the Zalman case there would be nothing stopping you spending more for it but i would not sacrifice on any of the other parts to get it as i've heard its pretty sucky for cable management.
