SneakyBadger wrote-PAIN- wroteSneakyBadger wrote it is illegal. The modding of the jtag breaches xbox and microsoft terms which is not illegal. The sale is one of a modified item, which is completely illegal. But not really much chance of getting caught
are you kidding me. jtags are completely not illegal. yes it is against Microsofts's Code of Conduct but that is not a law. Microsoft does not have a say in the supreme court therefore can not make laws. this would never be a law since no one cares about Xbox Live in the government.
Like i said. It's not illegal to jtag. But it's illegal to sell.
no it isnt illegal to sell either.
for example lets take a cup. youbought a cup from a online company. then you painted the cup to make it look nice. then you sold it. you "modified" it but does that make it illegal to sell. NO. same for xbox you. you can modify it as you wish.

Yes but you are not breaching terms and conditions by painting that cup. Its more like downloading a song then changing the artist name to yours and selling it as your own. There are rights that artist has covered in copyright. It is similar to the way this is illegal, although it is not copyright it is covered by. People have been sentenced to a jail sentence of up to 3 years for selling modified xboxs. Its just a fact it's illegal.

i dont feel like arguing with someone that knows nothing
if you go to jail for anything that has to do with jtags then you were doing something else along with jtags
