when i want to record people in game chat i switch it so the chat goes through my tv and mic but any time someone talks it lowers the game sound or mutes it. i dont know how to fix it

say when you hear the music in call of duty or just shooting when someone talks it lowers it or mutes it so you can hear them and i want to fix it so that doesnt happen
