i was wondering if these componts would be compatible with each other?

actually the motherboard he chose doesn't have a VGA port on it so you need a dedicated graphics card to use that motherboard or you won't get any display

Try using pcpartpicker.com, it is helpful, as it tells you if your components are compatible.
