My Flash Drive wont show up on my 360 and ive only just gone out and bought one to go and use Horizon, ha typical. its 8gb aswell.

plug it into ur computer and configure it first then plug it into your xbox and see what it does then

Ive tried that but thanks, ive changed it to fat32 and still nothing heres a more detailed approach. "Hey, My Flash drive which i just bought isnt showing up on the memory settings on the 360, ive tried other memory sticks and tried it on other xboxes and its perfectly fine but on mine it doesnt. My xbox is the arcade and the 2 usb ports at the front are slightly broken, but im using a usb splitter at the back which is working find for everything else, please help."
