I bought a seconds hand MacBook and I wanted to fresh install it to 10.7.5(Current Version) but I don't know where to start, I have a USB thumb drive with enough memory.
All help appreciated!

You need to boot the system to the Recovery HD. Hold down Command+r key at startup. Open Disk Utility and erase the Macintosh HD. Exit out of DU and select Reinstall Mac OS X. Select Macintosh HD as the place to install to and wait for the OS to be downloaded from the Web. The computer will restart when the download is finished and the install will start.

I can't get to the Recovery HD using that method and I am not sure there is even a Recovery HD on the Mac.
