I'm so confused why people want botters?
I mean, its a social site that allows you to share pictures with friends and people will follow you if they enjoy your photos...
So why do people want bots when all you're doing is sharing your photos to fake accounts who have absolutely no interest in your pictures
Just post pictures and eventually you'll gain followers which is much more nicer than instantly having 10,000 followers who have no interest in you
I just don't get it but on my opinion I just think its ridiculous

I agree and disagree.
If you don't seem popular, then boosting is the way forward.
Taking it to another level is just plain dumb.

Yeah but it's just like boosting in anything
It might feel good doing it because you're getting ahead of everyone
But once you've done it you realise there was no point in doing and that you should of done it like everyone else does

Instagram bots are all inactive, so they wont give a dam what you upload.
So pretty much those '50K Follower' they have, they might as well as be speaking to themselves.

Therefore showing that they have ended up going nowhere and wasting time on something they could have done to gain followers
Maybe travel to a erupting volcano and taking a photo or maybe taking a photo of a Banana they've just bought, whatever floats their boat

I really don't understand why people want to bot their instagram accounts, it makes you look "popular" but you get 5 likes on each of your pictures makes you look like an idiot.

I feel like people want to feel like they are popular, and the bigger that number is, the more "popular" they feel.
Really though, all you are doing is posting images for nobody to see, because they are all bots.

Before I begin this I am generalising, take what I say with a pinch of salt, and bear in mind that not all, in fact very few people I know actually do this, people who do this are the minority.
So, continuing a lot of people around the age of 13-20 care an awful lot about their image, especially there image presented to others. I'm not innocent of this either, I will tell you now I might occasionally sneak a glance of myself in any in something even as stupid as a car window. Image and the way we are perceived by others and often someone popularity is extremely important when we are teenagers and even into early adulthood, we want to look good.
Now this is where the popularity aspect comes in, often the people I see using bots are the type of people who want to draw more attention to themselves, often those slightly more insecure maybe about the way they look. They see instagram bots as a way to show to their "real" followers they are perceived as attractive as others. Not only this but the number of likes and follows you receive on social networking sites is also used as a ranking system for peoples attractiveness, some one with a lot of likes? Well then their well desired. People who use bots often, well as I believe, use it too boost there popularity and change or better their perception in front of their peers.
I don't dislike these people and in some ways I almost pity them to feel the need to use bots, don't get me wrong I'm no pretentious freak who thinks he extremely attractive, its just the way people perceive me is not at the top of my agenda or at least I don't feel the need to "prove" myself to anyone.
