I was wondering if y'all think it's worth to jailbreak my phone.
It's an iPhone 5.
Can anything bad happen to it if it's jail broken?

I jailbroke my phone so many times. But its worth it. You can get free app's and free inapp stuff. and no nothing can happen thats bad to your phone if it is.

It's totally worth it & it doesn't harm your phone.
I jailbroke my iPod & it didn't seem to make it any slower.

That depends on how many tweaks you download and how much storage you have left.
My old iPhone 4 got very slow but since you have a iPhone 5, I doubt there will be any difference if you don't download to much tweaks.

Make sure you backup your device via iTunes before performing this. A slight slip-up will brick your phone, redeeming it useless as a phone, but great as a iPaper weight.
