Okay, so I have Ghosts both on the Xbox 360 and the One... I mostly play it on the 360 though, I'm wondering if I buy the DLC for the 360 will I also be able to download it on the one free of charge?

Nope. Different system with different hard drive.

It should work until the last DLC comes out. Then you can't. As of now, as far as I am aware call of duty stated that you can in fact download the season pass to your next gen console.
