i have this ac adapter (i currently use it) and it has had the fault alarm light on a while back. and now it got it again now im scared any way to make this not happen

First off, I'd switch off and unplug your Xbox then unplug the adapter and all corresponding pieces of it, make sure it's all in good working order and it's clean and put it back apart again and switch your Xbox back on to see if it's happening again.
If it still happens, plug it into a different power point and try again.
If it still persists after that, try switching it off for an extended amount of time (1-2 hours for example) and try again. If there's still no change, you might want to consider buying a new one. Better safe than sorry.
