What does JTAG-able mean

I'm in the market for a JTAG. But all I see is JTAG-able consoles, can someone please explain to me what this means

It means that the Xbox 360 console is Able to be jtag'd hence the name "Jtag-able" this would mean that the console is on a pre-nxe dashboard or the original xbox 360 dashboard and can be jtag'd. where as if you were to attempt to jtag a newer console, don't quote me on this but im pretty sure it would brick the console rendering it useless.

Id suggest if u dont know what JTAG-able means then buy a ready made console.
