Hey, so here's a short tutorial on how to make 3D text on C4D.
I do not take any credit in the video's used in this video.
So theres two ways of doing this, first, the simple way, your going to want to open cinema4D and go to the toolbar at the top and click 'MoGraph' And then click 'MoText' and you straight away have 3D text, to change the depth, your going to want to click the 'MoText' on the right hand side of your screen, then in the bottom right it will have this box [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] your going to want to have 'Object' highlighted, then change depth to your chosen amount, when doing 3D work, i normally use around 120.
Secondly, (more complicated and not recommended.) your going to want to click and hold this button on the top tool bar [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] then click text, after you've done that, your going to click and hold this button also located on the top toolbar, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and then click 'Extrude NURBS' then when you have done that, on the right hand side of your screen click and hold text and drag it under Extrude NURBS, it will then turn 3D, then just click Extrude NURBS, and change the depth to your chosen depth again.
Enjoy guys <33
