I was just listening to the radio, and they are in debate about if they should enforce a law where you will receive a fine if you are caught smoking in a car with a child in the car.

But don't you think if they went harder on this problem of passive smoking and people smoking themselves, it will help them to quit?

It won't help them quit. People are going to do what they want and it's not up to us to stop them from smoking if they choose to.
Yes, we should protect the kids and we should protect non-smokers.
No, we should not stop people from doing what they like to their own bodies.

I agree with this, people should be allowed to do whatever they want with their own bodies.

but it shouldn't be forced on kids so they can determine themselves if they want to do it or not.

I agree with that people should be fined, if they smoke with a child in the car.

I agree, Its not right! Has anyone thought of the Kids Thoughts? 2nd Hand Smoke is almost as bad as if you smoking it yourself.

If someone wants to smoke in a car with a child in it that is completely upto them. I think the government are just looking for more ways to rinse people of there own money.

In australia, or nsw atleast there is a law that you can't smoke with any one under the age of 16 or 18, can't really remember. Although I don't think it is really enforced.

this is incorrect as nearly all the carcinogens are absorbed into the smokers lungs.

What about when they blow out the smoke after breathing it in? It fills up the whole car. Some people don't even roll down the window! I have seen it alot of times.

whats next the law gonna tell you when you can eat sleep and die ya lets all just run out and vote for that in the morning
