Zik wrote I guess the world would just have to trade?

Using items to barter as a form of currency would still be considered using money.

OP, a world like this is virtually impossible.

It would be anarchy.
No, not that type of anarchy, literal political anarchy.

Groups would be independent, the farmers provide food which goes into storage, people collect from the storage when they need to, in return, people provide education and machinery for the farmers etc.
It would be a 'I scratch your back, you scratch mine' world.

That is literally what a utopia would be like.
Unfortunately, humans don't work like that and everyone wants more, hence 'money.'

We would probably act like animals, and make food or any other essential elements our currency. We would probably trade bananas for coins or other stuff. There's no telling what would happen, but one thing's for sure, it would be freaking crazy.

Yeah man, everyone wants to have all the best, and just be greedy.

There would always be a system of economy no matter what.

If there was no paper money, we would be trading rocks and sheep. Even though it was trading, it is still considered currency.

I'm guessing that your talking about paper currency? If paper currency never existed, we would buy/give with elements(Gold, Iron, Silver, Copper etc.) as well as trading products(As many many previous posters have said).

If there was no money in the world, there would be alot of trading. Possibly if people didn't have stuff to trade i'd say most people would steal therefore the answer to your question would be alot of stealing. Well, it does most likely depending on what type of person they are. The real answer to your question is not right nor wrong. The question you asked can't be answered properly. People may be thinking now what i have just posted. I have posted my knowledge

There would be very little greed in the world if any greed at all, and people would actually respect what they have, I think it would be a better place as some people these days don't respect what they have

If there was no money in the world, we would just barter items and resources with one another.
