8 hours is the recommend amount of sleep. Go over is fine, but to much is bad. A little less is okay, but to much is bad again.

I can always sleep fairly easy by working out. Usually before dinner try workout, that way when you eat dinner and you're finished with everything else, you should be good. Warm milk usually helps.

Avoid stimulating activity and stressful situations before you sleep, and avoid napping. Make sure your bedroom is quiet, dark, and cool. Most importantly stick to a regular sleep schedule if you can, this helped me cure my insomnia I had for 3+ years

Tylenol PM's work pretty good. If you're not big on popping pills you can always try breathing exercises. They are my preferred method whenever I have trouble.

Really warm showers help a lot, when the body temperature drops your body starts to feel extremely tired and you should fall right asleep.

try doing something to make you tired running around before you go to bed then when in bed make sure its dark and quiet and cool also rest your tounge to the bottom of your mouth it relieves the muscles and I find sleeping in boxers or shorts helps to stay cool im sure everyone else does to haha

Mmmm, are you sure you want to pass out??!? You should just try and go to bed a little earlier. I stay up on school nights on my tablet but I'm fine for school... 5-6 hours is fine but 8 is recommended.

A hot shower at night gets you relaxed so you have more chances to pass out.

A cold glass of water right when you wake up has been proven to be more effective then coffee. Also an apple are also proven to be better than coffee.
