you can get it back i did it but its risky recover your account onto a usb it should come up that the account couldnt be recovered due to code of conduct bullshit yadayda after that put the profile onto usb move into horizion on the pc open up the profile and tick the box that says recovery that should enable you to recover your full gamertag worked for me loads of times and i was banned for a year

there has been some talk of a way to get banned xbox gamertages back online and working,

if you can log on the xbox website it hasnt been deleted so but it dose tell you that it has been banned so if you can a lot of people to report the gammer tags name it will ban you again for a while not sure on the time but when the time is done it will unban you account and some one had a disk for a jtag that could take the blocks off dunno if any of this works but though i would let you know good luck

All u will do is recover on the retail and banned the console now why would u wanna do that?

If your friend has it on their xbox you can tell them to give it to you on a USB
