Hey guys,
I have a TH55B HD motherboard & need to upgrade graphics card but I don't know what's compatible as I want to run Elder Scrolls Online.
I am currently running
Windows 7 64 bit
500w power supply
4gb ram
i3 @ 2.93ghz
& onboard intel HD core i3 graphics
Have found a pic of the motherboard... I was ideally looking at a radeon HD 7870.

Is this possible with the current build?
Many thanks
Adam

Also, you can upgrade other aspects of a PC, but it will only perform as well as the weakest part
i.e you only have 4gb RAM which will hinder you to a point

Yes, your mobo has PCI Express 2.0. PCI Express 3.0 is backwards compatible with PCI Express 2.0.
Also, I agree with JVI you should get another stick of 4gb RAM.

First of all, what power supply do you have? For all we know it could be an unbranded crappy PSU.

You won't want to be running a 7870 or 270X on a 500 Watt PSU anyhow. So upgrade that first...

Look at your connectors and see if you have any connecters that look like this:
