All tutorials were written by me unless stated otherwise. I found the info through trial and error plus a little forum browsing. Enjoy!

How to use your 3DS as a music player:
1. Power off your 3DS and remove the SD card.

2. Insert the SD card into your computer's SD card reader.

3. Locate the music files that you want to add to your 3DS, make sure they're in .mp3 or .aac format (I personally haven't tested other formats but you should feel free to try and post the results).

If you have files in different formats:
Here's a [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to a very good audio converter. Virusutotal scan [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] for those paranoid peeps c;

4. Depending on the amount of music you're transferring, you'll need to create folders. The 3DS will detect exactly 100 songs per folder. The location of these folders will ALWAYS be in the root of your SD card.

5. Once that's done, all you need to do is drag your music into the folder(s) you created.

6. Put the SD card back into your 3DS, open Nintendo 3DS Sound, and you should see your SD card there.

I will be updating this VERY shortly!
