I have been skating for a very long time, and still cannot front boardslide. I always fall forward no matter what, and have a chronic fear that I'm gonna hit my face or something like that.
Any advice on how to keep my balance would be great, +REP. Thanks alot guys.
(By the way, I have watched endless tutorials and still fall forward, I honestly am dumbfounded with this)

Keep one foot close to your nose of the board, and the other near the tail. And try to center as much as possible .

maybe if you start of on a smaller ledge or flat rails, in my opinion front boards are easier on flat rails. I suggest just getting on right at the end of the ledge or rail so you are not sliding as far and it might host your confidence. Overall you can not let fear get in the way of things you just need to force yourself to do it and try not to hesitate either because stuff can go wrong when you hesitate.

You just have to commit to trick and be sure and stand straight up when you get into it so you can reduce your chances of falling forward or backward, be sure to start on a lower ledge then progressively get higher and higher.

Get rid of the fear. Once you let fear kick in you've already failed the trick. That's how I started to get my tricks down until I almost broke my Coccyx Bone.

Same here, that feeling of slipping and just nailing your face is scary, id say look up some tips and trick and practice on a short flatbar that way if you fall it wont be that bad of a fall and you will be able to catch yourself before faceplanting.
