When I try to get into my router admin controls by typing my ip in the url bar
it just times out and wont show the login screen
I am hard wired to my router
I reset my computer and router
can someone help plz
I posted in PC gen but no one got back to me

are you sure you're typing in the correct one?
on the start menu, type "cmd" in the search bar, in cmd, type in "ipconfig" and that will tell you your default gateway, use that one.

Could you post a image?
Also, type in CMD "Ipconfig"
then look for the IP next to the word "DNS Gateway" it will say your login IP. Just in case you are typing it wrong.

I see whats going on, same thing happened to me. Try calling your cable provider, i did that and they were able to help me out, if not then i dont know... sorry hopefully you can get it fixed soon
