Yes, you could do the RGH2 exploit and have it as a modded console. Another thing you could do is flash the drive, but it's not worth it because it's not able to go online, and RGHing the console will allow you to do a lot more than flashing it, and depending on what you already have would be a lot cheaper.

How do you know if it is on retail? It is a slim and I just got console banned, it is on the latest dash, could I possibly do it either way ?

'Retail' would mean you haven't modified any software on the console lol. Since you're saying it was online and console banned and asking how you could mod the console, I'm guessing it's not already exploited in any way. And the RGH can be done on any dashboard and even on slims.

No my console was not modded. I just had 3 profile bans. But, is there any tutorial on how to do this? And what exactly does this RGH exploit do ?

yes you can mod the console, but i suggest jn looking in the xbox marketplace and sent it away to get modded

I would recommend having a trusted person from the marketplace do it, it's not exactly a walk in the park. It requires buying a CoolRunner chip and a NAND reader/writer. You would also need really good soldering skills and some stuff like soldering flux and a de-solder braid. It's not worth it if you're just going to RGH the one console and not use the tools ever again, the total cost of all of these tools is around $80, while an RGH service from a stickied member in the marketplace is only $50 plus shipping
