I'd for sure pick a team that's nearby. If you live in Los Angeles, then choose LA based teams. That way, it's free to watch their games if they don't black out. Being a fan of a team that isn't in your area will make you have to pay to actually watch most of their games.
Just watch the game and understand the players when you do. It's not hard to be a fan if you're committed to watching them. Eventually, you'll know everybody and it'll be a part of your life.
Baseball is probably the best sport to start with. They play by far the most games out of any sport. 162 games, they played like 6 games a week, it's easy to get into the flow of the game. Once you get to be a fan of baseball, other sports will open up and then you'll find your favorite sport. Lucky for you, baseball starts in a couple months. Spring Training which is a period where teams play to prepare for the actual season starts in a month. You can definitely look online and research everything about the team.

Come on now. Man U is the International Glory team. Don't tell me that you don't recognise this. Everybody knows this about Man U. The fact that they are the Glory team and that they command the biggest club stadium in England yet maintain a pish atmosphere is legendary.

HOF wroteyouno wrote go on youtube and check out soccer stuff youll be amazed at the top goals and tricks professionals do
Not trying to start anything but personally I dont think soccer is a exciting sport... it's just kickball with shorts... But just find a team you like.. Make sure not to bandwagon though you'll get laughed at and made fun of for that.
>I'm not trying to start anything but let me just go ahead and insult your sport.
Just because you don't think it's exciting doesn't mean other people don't. I'm an American Manchester City fan and I wouldn't wake up at 7am on weekends to watch a sport that isn't "exciting." You have your thumpings where teams get beat 6-0 and then you have the dull games where the score ends at a 0-0 draw. The whole "my sport is better than yours" argument is stupid. There's a different sport for everyone. I don't particularly find watching people swing a stick for 9 innings exciting but who am I to down-talk what someone else might find exciting?
