So, I just got the Xbox One, and after years of messing with the 360, Jtaging, hot swapping, Flashing, and all that good stuff, I have decided to start a project for modifying the Xbox One. Now, the first thing to come to mind, of course would be the security. (Trying to find the flaws in the security , since between after release, now would be the best time, since the console is relatively new/No major fixes have had to be pushed out yet) Anyone know of anything I could work off of? I do know that you can run linux, although it's kind of useless since the disc drive is unable to recognize/spin the games, and its incredibly unstable, so if anyone had something useful to tell me that would be GREAT!

So you're going to come out with the method to run unsigned code on X1? And you're asking us for vulnerabilities? Here's a start, dump the NAND, examine it and learn X1 hardware and software technical stuff. The hypervisor is going to prevent you from running unsigned code, so you will need to find a way to run with hypervisor privileges which will require coding knowledge. So learn C/C++, intermediate reversing, etc.

You also forgot the Secureboot Module that runs at the start of the OS.

1.) That's for PCs, unknown to Xbox.
2.) It can be disabled.
3.) They have a hypervisor and a hell of a lot of things to prevent unsigned code, so why have secure boot?
