If you can't even set one up, you shouldn't have one, it's as simple as that. Setting them up with the basics (i.e xexmenu, FSD, dashlaunch) isn't exactly challenging.

-K9 wrote I don't see why people are ripping on this user because he doesn't know how to setup his Jtag. Not everyone can learn from Google, Youtube, etc because they don't have the knowledge to do so. Others just buy it, not realizing how challenging they are to work with if you don't know what you're doing. He's asking for help, not asking for people to tell him that he should already know how to do everything himself.

Know how challenging? Why buy a Jtag if you cant even set it up lmfao. Its not exactly challenging and if anyone thinks it is then they shouldn't own a Jtag

I don't know much about them; therefore I'd classify that as challenging in my eyes. I'm trying to read up on them before I get a job and essentially buy one. He probably didn't think about it, as I hadn't thought about it until I was really thinking it might not be as easy as 'plug it in and mod.' Most people don't realize that, and he's asking to set it up so just help him if you have the knowledge, versus posting saying: "Oh you should have read more before you bought one!" Well it's a bit too late, he kind of has the console in front of him already.

I wasn't ripping the guy i was just saying he should really do research on them before buying it, simply because most people like him will have a bricked Jtag within a few weeks. Plus there's plenty of information on the internet, and also thousands of youtube tutorials he could watch

I agree he could have looked things up, definitely. It's just not everyone thinks about those types of things, because they think RGH's and Jtag's are simple to work.

I agree that we all started somewhere but this guy will end up with a Jtag that he paid 150+ for and it will be worth nothing. A Jtag can be complicated and should be researched about before being purchased

I would definitely agree, and that's why I'm researching Jtags, so I don't brick mine whne I buy it.

Watch xModdedxWarfarex on youtube and his tutorials. Or look up at the tutorial section on the tab.
