So my disk tray makes a weird noise and it just doesn't sound right. It happens at he end of the video. I have taken it apart but there is nothing wrong with it. To me it sound like the magnet isn't catching the discs good could that be it??? It still plays games but I don't believe it will for long.

That's the sound of something slipping, like the laser on it's tracks. Or something small has fallen inside and is getting stuck. Try shaking any loose crap out with the tray open but Xbox off, obviously.

the disc is probably not fully in place this happens if you open you xbox.
