Don't have that here in California, maybe because we're mostly Hispanic. People here try to be 'gangster', which might be even worse.

I agree it's annoying, then you get those people who claim they " Hunt " Because " they wear camo clothing.

Haha finally somebody with the same problem. First off the girls here just say they like mudding and country music and claim to be "country" yet they dont go mudding or anything theyre wannabes. Then theres the guys here who drive pick up trucks and work boots and also claim to be "country" I live in NY........

IMO, anyone who makes a big deal about being "country" or from any other background is an idiot. I live somewhere that has the same problem, and my friend is actually from the South. He gets mad at the people around here, just like you. I could care less. You are who you are.

To be fair, according to a good friend of mine that lives there, Indiana has a ton of farm land and "country-like" areas. Seems very reasonable that so many say they like it to me.
