I think that it is real for the most part, but I remember that Dave Hester said they hid stuff in the units prior to them bidding on them.

I find it kind of obvious to tell that it's fake.

The storage hunter's are real, but the person that raise's up
the bids, they hide vaulable item's, and they try their best to hide the items.
I hope I make sence.

thats what they did??!?!?! thats how i found it fake because stuff was placed in places like that which is so unrealistic and it actually annoys me when they some of the guys in it pick up small items and say " i can get 200 bucks for this" No you **** cant ur lucky if u get it for 10 from a **** second hand shop!

I think that there is stuff planted in the storage units to make it exciting otherwise they could go through a whole day of filming without finding anything that creates any excitement.

I think it is real, however most of the time they find good, valuable items.. Surely there can't be that many rare and profitable things in each locker?
However, I have mixed opinions

I honestly don't believe that it's real. The show is so convenient, and almost each storage locker has something valuable. Not only that, but it looks very planned. Almost like they knew what to say already. I think that's the main reason I stopped watching the show, simply because of how scripted it seemed.
