HDcompressed recordings at resolutions up to 1080i. HD-PVR records component video (YCrCb) from video game consoles and cable TV and satellite set top boxes, with a built-in IR blaster to automatically change TV channels for scheduled recordings. Audio is recorded using two channel stereo or optical audio with five channel Dolby Digital.
The recording format is AVCHD, which can be used to burn Blu-ray DVD disks. Two hours of HD recordings, recorded at 5 Mbits/sec, can be burnt onto a standard 4.7 GByte DVD-R or DVD-RW disk for playback on a Blu-ray DVD player.
PVR is the worlds first High Definition video recorder for making real-time H.264 (all information from hauppauge website)

I think I deserve the Hd Pvr because
1.I need something to record machinimas,game plays,and other videos for games with Hd
2. My dazzle does not work on my tv
3. It's really expensive and my parents won't buy me it because they think it's a waste of money
4.I don't have job to buy a $250 recording devicev
5.I'm helping the community out
6.I'm very active
7.it would be very much appreciated if I would win for this reasons above

I know he is legit becuase he recorded a patch for me in HD, and Please PM me because I would like you to record 1 more before you get rid of your PVR, WILL REP!!!

Well, i would like to win because....I would make regular montages, and advertise TTG in my videos, i'm getting a laptop for my christmas, and this would be perfect to go along, and also. If i won i would do a dazzle giveaway. And if it makes a difference i'll rep you 4Times a day, right until christmas eve.

I feel I should win
1st. My family doesn't have the financial freedom to spend $250 for a video game

hmmm, I think I should get the HD PvR because i hate pulling nice shots and not getting it on film, now that BO has come out with theater and stuff it helps but it only saves 100 recent games and only 6 slots in file share which are already full from some shots. This would help me soooo much and when i upload to youtube i will put you in every video/montage and give credit.

1. i record / test patches free for ttg members (on my camera, so its bad quality )
2.i am active on ttg (even though my rep doesnt show it, no one reps me , even tho i help)
