The header is meant to be a fixed header, which scrolls with page, becoming a bit transparent once the scrolling begins. Sorry Chris, and Matt I got through the others and I asked myself why I was writing all this, so I just used fillers.

I tried to make a design/concept that would smoothly transition on to be displayed on tablet and and other mobile devices without much having to change. I may change some things up tomorrow because it looks a bit odd to me.

Not a bad entry by any means. If you don't mind, I'd like to break it down a little bit and show you where you could have improved on.

1. The Logo- Looks like you tried to add a perspective effect to it (not sure if intentional or not), just keep the logo 2D like it was provided, trust me it will work out fitting well.

2. Page Space Efficiency- This one isn't particularly bad, more so of a preference from working with so many professional web page designers, but the side margins are way too large. Leave at most 1-1.5" on either side of the page. Use content to fill up until those margins. Had you taken 2 bios per row instead of 1 large column, this would have filled more lateral space.

3. Updates Panel- A lot of sites will offer a "Join Newsletter" option in the footer, in the case of yours, it is perfectly fine to dedicate a section to it my concern is how much space you gave it. It almost takes away from the body content about the artists. I don't think I've come across anyone who I've designed a site for that has wanted to advertise their mailing list more than themselves lol. My suggestion: take the mail icon, shrink it down and point it to the left of the dialogue box and move the "Receive updates..." down to above the dialogue box. Will condense the section tremendously while also not taking away from the fact that it's still there.

4. File Format- Make sure you save as a .png not .jpg or .jpeg for best/optimized quality on the image when sharing to the web ;)

Not a bad entry my friend, best of luck in the competition!
