We are aware of the nitro cheat and are looking into it. In with our next update we will be doing sweeps to remove any modded cars with this nitro cheat as well as taking appropriate action from their accounts. I recommend you remove the car you received that had nitro on it.

Today I received a modded car with this new nitro cheat going around. Will any recourse be taken for owning this car. A friend duped it to me and I can get rid of it if its a problem. I use it for fun not in races but will gladly get rid of it if there will be a chance of a ban in the future.

To bad we did not have Nos cars on Feb 07 when he submitted this ticket and also the ticket number is blacked out. That would make this fake. They never banned for blacklisted cars, so why would they ban for Nos? It would be a loss to have your garage wiped clean though.

I understand, that but the ammount of people who are complaing about this on the forums, or the people who are asking if you will get banned, posts or what ever you wanna call it have been removed, or deleted. and brian only replys and states that no type of cheating is needed, and action will be taking for anyone who does so. but they may do something about it as they did after a while with the DNS Mods

I highly doubt that RockStar will do much of anything. Just try to patch it and clear garages! I don't see any way they could tell if you had NOS or not, without doing each car individually. They didn't even ban much people over the DNS servers, and they unban everyone not too long ago anyways. I think they are just trying to scare people and have us do the easy work by removing the cars. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

This will never happen, and if it does, they will loose a lot of players.

Remember what happened when they took all the modded money away? So many people quit. There's no way RS will take away the cars. That'd be to long of a process.

I knew this was eventually going to happen one day. I'm glade I didn't get involved in any of this stuff. I wish the best to those of you who have this modded car.

I doubt they'll be banning people for this. I've had modded cars in my garage for a long time and i used to give out money using the tunables mod and i still haven't been banned or reset.
