I'm looking to buy a new Xbox 360 controller, but I'm not sure if I want an original model, or a new one.
If I get a new one, I will probably get chrome blue. Are the chrome controllers slippery?
I know that the thumbsticks on the newer controllers are more like the Xbox One controllers, and I'd like to hear what you guys have to say.
Are the thumbsticks on the new controllers better, or worse? Also, do Kontrol Freeks fit on the the thumbsticks?
All feedback is appreciated, and I will +REP for all helpful responses. Thanks everyone!

The new one is much much better!

The thumb sticks to me don't feel as grippy as the old ones but maybe that is just me.
The new one also looks a lot nicer.

If you are buying for design go with the blue, the chrome makes no difference to me.

They do have a slippery feel to them, it really depends on your "Grip" preference and yes, the Kontrol freeks Thumbpads fit just fine.

They really don't seem to slip unless I'm eating something greasy.

Like the old style because of my Xbox being black
Not too bothered on the style
Although the grip on the new controller and lasting time is Better in my opinion

I didn't know that they are making new thumbsticks in the new controllers.

As for the blue chrome controller, it looks really nice, but having chrome can make the controller slippery, because the paint doesn't have as much grip as the original xbox controller.

I think the new controller looks sick. Although I can't back it up as I don't have the new one, I would for sure get it though. I currently have the old version which also works good too. The new controller has my vote.

I have the newer version. The thumbsticks are kinda odd at first but you'll get used to them quick and I'm pretty sure that KontrolFreek's fit on them. I think the new thumbstick design makes for better grip and the thumbsticks last longer without wearing down. The finish on the chrome controller will make it get slippery if your hands sweat when playing. I think it would be better to just get the normal paint, nothing fancy.

I prefer the newer controller.
