Really? Wow... the plot thickens.
I don't really see much of a point in hijacking the plane over the ocean though, surely there would be a target for them to hit?
They could have hijacked it over land, and then crashed it into an urban population which would have killed everyone onboard and more.

The Bermuda Triangle? Not exactly sure if they flew through it, but seems reasonable.

They were flying no where near the Bermuda triangle. They were thousands and thousands of miles away from it.

As a Pilot in training, I think that this plane indeed crashed into the Gulf of Thailand. This was where the last known location of the plane was. When I a plane hits water, it is more dangerous than landing on hard material(runway/ground/rocks) because water is uneven and if the left wing is lower than the right, the plane will start to flip and go chaotic with a low percentage of survival. Then it sinks so nobody can find it.

All of the news agencies are talking about them finding an oil slick.
How would that happen? Does it mean that is where the plane crashed?
Or the fuel tank was pierced and that's where it flew over?
You seem like the person to ask.
