This is just some annoying scare.
It happened in 2012, and many times before that.
The world won't end for another few million years.
Don't panic - Unless scientists whip up a forever alive potion.
You'll never see the end of the world.

What does confisued mean? And it wont end. They say it every year and it never happens. Its another money making scheme for a bunch of scientists.

I'll somwhat agree, You won't see our solar system end for billions upon billions of years, Probably when our sun dies(If you payed attention in science class). But our world as we know it can somewhat come a halt any day. Yellowstone's (Super)volcano can erupt at any point in the near future. May not But we'll never know. Upon it's eruption it can devastate pretty much everyone in america.

I studied that in Geography a few years ago.
The ash could block out the sun and everything would go cold and die etc...
But that won't happen for a few more thousand years.
Technology is advancing and we'd be able to tell if it would explode a few hundred years before it actually did!
In mine, yours, and everyone on this sites lifetime COMBINED together, we wouldn't see a disaster like that.

That isn't a world ending event though.
It will make it harder to live on Earth, but super volcanoes have erupted multiple times in the past and life has survived.
The only things that I can see ending all life on Earth between now and when the sun dies are massive meteor impacts, an interplanetary collision by a rogue planet, or an alien invasion, the latter two of which seem pretty improbable at the moment.
