I am able to see the challenge races which you can get 250k from but it wont let me start it. Is there anyways to start them?

You must have $250k in cash. Not in the bank.
And if you do it alone, you neither gain or lose money.
With a friend, you start the race, invite them, press play,
then back out when it goes to the "choose car" screen (the host)
and the friend starts and finishes the race and wins $250k.
The host will not lose that money though.

Then, they can do the same for you!
